Between 4x4 safaris, walks, river cruises, and moments of relaxation in upscale lodges, each stop promises unforgettable encounters and breathtaking landscapes.

  • Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Lake Manyara

    Welcome to Tanzania!

Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver and French-speaking safari guide. Following a transfer, we will take you to Lake Manyara, a true haven for birds and the perfect starting point for your safari adventure.

Upon arrival, depart for a late afternoon safari to observe elephants, flamingos and other wildlife that inhabit this region.

You will stay in a lodge offering exceptional views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. A dream setting for a peaceful first night in Tanzania.

  • Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, your journey will take you to the Ngorongoro Crater, considered a true paradise for animals. Here you will have the chance to admire exceptional wildlife in a breathtaking setting.

Crater Safari: This crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the places where the probability of spotting the Big Five—lion, elephant, black rhinoceros, buffalo, and leopard—is highest. A complete immersion in the stunning natural environment of this caldera.

  • Days 3 / 4 / 5 / 6: Serengeti National Park

Next stop: the Serengeti, famous for its spectacular migrations and dense wildlife.

You will spend 4 nights in 2 exclusive lodges, located in private concessions, away from the crowds, in areas where wildlife is particularly dense.

You will enjoy daily safaris in a 4x4 vehicle to observe large predators, gazelles and, of course, the migrations of wildebeest and zebras, which cross the savannah in search of fresh pastures.

You will be accommodated in high-end chalets, offering breathtaking views of the savannah, unparalleled comfort and impeccable service.

  • Day 7/8: Tarangire National Park

After these intense days of safari in the Serengeti, we headed to Tarangire, another Tanzanian national park, known for its incredible concentration of elephants.

You will discover abundant wildlife: elephants, lions, giraffes, impalas and a myriad of birds.

The migration season is a spectacle not to be missed, when hundreds of animals come together around rivers and baobab trees.

You will stay in an exclusive lodge overlooking the surrounding plains.

  • Days 9/10: Ruaha National Park

You will take a domestic flight from Arusha to Ruaha, one of the most natural and best-preserved parks in the country.

It is famous for its remarkable wildlife and iconic predators: lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards. You will also have the opportunity to observe elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and a multitude of other captivating species.

You will be accommodated in picturesque lodges, located in remote areas in the heart of the park, offering a stay experience totally integrated with the wilderness.

  • Day 11/12: Selous National Park

Your journey will continue in the Selous Game Reserve, one of the largest national parks, which remains largely untouched by mass tourism. It's a prime location for observing animals in their natural habitat.

The park boasts diverse biodiversity, including a dense population of predators, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, and elephants. It's also the perfect place to explore river safaris and observe animals drinking and bathing.

You will spend the night in a luxury lodge offering spectacular views of the Rufiji River, providing superior comfort and an experience close to nature.

  • Day 13: Return to Arusha and end of the trip

Following a final morning excursion, you will take a domestic flight back to Arusha in preparation for your international flight.

The end of a memorable 12-day journey through Tanzania's most magnificent parks, filled with indelible memories.

Tanzania from north to south in 13 days: from the Serengeti to secret reserves

This 13-day itinerary is the most ambitious that Fundis'Africa offers in Tanzania. It combines the classic northern circuit with the secluded reserves of the south, rarely offered by French agencies.

The Serengeti and the Ngorongoro

The first part of the route covers the iconic parks of northern Tanzania: the Serengeti for its scale and the great migration, and the Ngorongoro for the unique concentration of animals in its caldera.

Ruaha National Park

Ruaha is Tanzania's largest national park, covering 20,000 km². It is also one of the least visited, making it a prime destination for travelers seeking exclusivity. Its wildlife is exceptionally rich: the largest lion population in Tanzania, numerous elephants, African wild dogs, kudu, and oryx, species not found in the northern parks. The absence of mass tourism gives Ruaha an authentic bush atmosphere.

The Selous Reserve

The Selous Game Reserve (renamed Nyerere National Park) is one of the largest and least visited nature reserves in Africa. Boat safaris on the Rufiji River, among hippos and crocodiles, and drives through little-explored riparian ecosystems make Selous a truly unforgettable end to a tour.
