Book an appointmentWhy this itinerary is one of the most comprehensive in Botswana
This 13-day itinerary traverses three radically different ecosystems, making it one of the richest experiences Botswana has to offer.
The Okavango Delta
The Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a unique aquatic labyrinth. Four-wheel drive excursions across the dry land alternate with safaris in mokoros (traditional dugout canoes) on the canals. Elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, hippos, and an exceptionally rich birdlife coexist in an ecosystem shaped by seasonal floods from Angola.
Les The Story Pans
The Makgadikgadi Pans are the remnants of an ancient inland lake that once covered an area equivalent to Switzerland. During the rainy season, these expanses of white salt host one of the largest migrations of zebras and wildebeest in southern Africa. In the dry season, they become a stark and utterly silent mineral desert, inhabited by meerkats and herds of oryx.
The Mashatu reserve
Mashatu, in eastern Botswana on the border with Zimbabwe and South Africa, is one of the country's most secluded private reserves. It is renowned for its lions and leopards, as well as its elephants and birdlife. Its restricted access guarantees a rare exclusivity.
